What is the most wonderful berry in the world?
Today we are talking about the most wonderful berry in the world. In Sweden it’s the most beloved berry and if you ask an average person which berry you are going to eat for midsommar they will tell you about this amazing berry. This bright red fruit with a characteristic aroma and juicy structure will not leave you indifferent. Its taste and aroma cured depression in ancient times. I hope you’ve guessed this berry ;)
Do you love strawberries as much as I do? Once you try it, you will fall head over heels in love with it. I have yet to meet people who don’t like strawberries.
I use this berry both externally and internally. You can eat fresh strawberries with yogurt and honey, blend them, add them to some kind of shake, and also have them in baking cakes, pies, donuts, jams. Even the industry uses the flavour of strawberries for making soaps, shampoos, gels, all kinds of body and house cleaning care products.
Strawberry is an amazing summer berry but is it really only a summer one?
I grow a remontant variety of strawberries, which allows me to harvest at least twice a season. But my soul is thirsty for an experiment again :) This time I plan to plant a strawberry bush in a pot and keep it at room temperature during the cold seasons.
